realitysquared, Director of Policy Enforcement, sent me this:
"Since deviantART is a 'for profit' website offering a range of products for sale we cannot be considered a simple 'fan-site' as most corporations would define them.
In addition it is our policy to require explicit written permission for the use of third party materials- the quote which you provided is an unofficial implied permission which we do not acknowledge.
FAQ #8: What does deviantART consider to be Art Theft? explains out stance."
So... Even a quote I provided from a source from a rep. of LucasFilm is "unofficial" and "implied". I wonder who has their head high up in the clouds now... And the last time I checked, TheForce.Net, one of the biggest Star Wars websites out there, is a 'for profit' website. Guess what? They let artwork be posted there. They even have a gallery. Wonder why it's ok there, but not here.
I guess this is the final word then.
It is sad all things must have an end. But this end came too quickly. If they did this to everyone, not just "picking and choosing", I might be able to grasp it better.
I encourage all of you to try to protest against this in any way. I for one am leaving the site. I will have one more artwork posted here, but it will not be for me. It will be for the community. If you have any Star Wars, LOTR, or any other artwork (including icons) that is picked on by the admins here at DA, don't try to fight it. I did. I provided good arguments, but they weren't good enough. I even found a quote. Doesn't matter. My work here was deleted, sent into the void. Yet others still have their work out...
I don't need to spend time here at a hypocritical site like this one, that won't stand by their policies 100%, and "picks and chooses" their victims. I am starting my own website to post my work at. I will leave the link here when I am finished creating it. I encourage all of you to do the same, before (and if) your work is deleted.
To those on my watched list: I will still continue to view your work. Some of your works have inspired me to try out different things. I also really enjoyed talking to you all, by way of comments and such. I won't be leaving the internet: if you want to talk to me, send me an IM. I'll be around.
Once again, I am sorry it had to come to this. I would like to say I'll miss it, but I probably won't. Not with the trouble this site has caused.
Until next time.

New look, new features, just news.
I recently snagged a 1-year premium membership here at DA. Did one of the TrialPay things to get it.
Free is an awesome price, for one audiobook and a DA subscription. :D
Anyways, with the new look here at my page, I think this may give me some reason/inspiration to start submitting more stuff. That, and I kinda need to practice my Photoshopping skillz, since I scored a contract.
OH SNAP I DIDN'T MENTION THAT BEFORE, DID I.
That's because that news kinda happened a couple of days ago. Not going to say a lot about it here, but if you're interested in hearing about it, drop me a note.
I'm still exploring all the cool things I can do here n
*sigh*
Didn't get the graphic designer position.
Still on the job hunt.
Be nice if I could score some cash on commissions... I guess my profile page over at ~hiredeviantARTISTS (https://www.deviantart.com/hiredeviantartists) isn't really working... Maybe I'll lower prices for possible commissions? Didn't really think they were that high before, seen other artists go higher, but oh well. Maybe the art stuff isn't for me. Maybe I should focus more with writing.
Which, I'm happy to say, I've been working on anyways. I've had a story in mind for quite a while now, just now planning out the novel. I'm excited about it.
I'd be more excited if I got a nice full time job, though.

10,000 Page Views!
Took me a while, but I finally made it to the 5 digit numbers. 10,000 pageviews... Pretty crazy. Thank you to all who have taken the time to look at my work, even if you haven't liked what you've seen. It's all a learning experience, and I appreciate the comments and critiques you give out. The :+fav:s help too. ;)
On that note, I have a fairly big announcement... Well, for me anyways. I have a job interview for a Communications Specialist/Graphic Designer position at the library district that I currently work in. They're asking for a portfolio of the work I've done so far... Trying to figure out how to print out webpage designs... Probably
I'm back. Finally.
First off, I apologize. I went away for a long time, never offered any explanation. College got the best of me, what can I say? At times, I did have the time to upload my new work here, but I didn't really have the energy. Not only that, but my school network didn't allow for uploads within the dorm rooms. So I was stuck with a one-way internet connection: stuff comes in, nothing goes out. Only Lindenwood University could have internet fail like that. So anyways, here I am, summer is here, I'm back uploading stuff and viewing works and so on and so forth.
About that summer "break..." Well, I don't really have a "summer break" anymore, becaus

I'm sorry to hear that,
But I'm glad you will still be a patron to other's art on this site.
^^
You have good character, that's why we're friends. ^^
